Biosystems Engineering TechnologyNo baccalaureate degree program is offered in biosystems engineering technology; however, seven undergraduate courses are offered to prepare students in other disciplines to apply elementary principles, techniques, and systems of engineering to the broad industry of agriculture.A Minor in Biosystems Engineering Technology requires a minimum of 18 semester hours as follows: Biosystems Engineering Technology 202, 212, 432, 442 and two of the three courses 422, 452, or 462. A program leading to the Master of Science degree with a major in biosystems engineering technology is available (see the Graduate Catalog). The graduate program is open to qualifying BS graduates from other disciplines. Academic records of applicants will be reviewed by the departmental graduate committee to determine if prerequisite courses are required to meet program requirements. |
