BsET434 Production Monitoring & Automation

3 hours
Precision technologies for monitoring and control of agricultural systems. Applications include: yield monitoring; variable rate control and sensing systems for planters, sprayers, soil applied nutrients, water management, crop health, and pest pressure; electronic information transfer; and GPS-based vehicle guidance. Contact Hour Distribution: 2 hours and 1 lab. (RE) Corequisite(s): 326.
