 New Business:

-The student representative responsibilities were discussed.  An organization needs to send a representative.  The clubs rely on you for information.  You can have 2 meetings unexcused before you are demoted as representative.  If you can not attend please send another club member in your place.

 Semester Projects and Goals:

-Student Council needs to do 1 big service project.  However the council will decide how active or inactive the organization becomes.

-At the next meeting we will be discussion website improvements.  Any ideas or problems please email Carol White.  A Calendar on the website was discussed.  This calendar would have all club activities for CASNR.  The goal of this calendar is to help lessen the ListServ emails.  Instead the info would be pasted on the website.  Please bring all future dates for the semester to next meeting.

-A Fall Festival in being looked into instead of a X-mas party for the Boys and Girls Club.  Since the last day of classes is November 30th, the suggested dates are the week of the October 22nd.  Please gather ideas from your organizations.

 Other Announcements:

-Theressa Cooper made an announcement about the CASNR Luau.  The CASNR Luau is September 2nd from 6-8pm in Brehm Animal Science parking lot.  The entire College is invited.  Each CASNR organization will have an information table and a game set up.  The parking lot will be roped off at 5pm and the booth set up will begin at 5:30pm

-September 8th at Thompson Boling Arena will be the Fall Job Fair.  Any questions contact career services or go to their website.

-SGA Representatives Adam Thompson and Amy Willis are working on trying to get students parking permits for service projects on football game days.  Currently, the student can go to their department and they will contact the parking service.  Also a petition will be set around in the future about the stoplight on Joe Johnson drive making it a flashing red light.
