CASNR Student Advisory Council Meeting Minutes

April 25, 2002 

The College of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources Student Advisory Council held its monthly meeting on Thursday, April 25, 2002.  President Lisa White presided and the meeting was called to order at 5:30 p.m.  An information sheet was circulated for new member to supply contact information.

Old Business: None

New Business:

The first order of business was to elect officers for the 2002-03 academic year.  Candidates expressing interest in council offices were list by office on the board.  Additionally, nominations were accepted from the floor for each position.  Candidates were requested to introduce themselves, provide background information and briefly discuss their vision for the office of interest.  Positions were voted on individually using secret ballots.

Results of the elections are as follows:

President:                Julie Pedigo

Vice President:        Ella Brown

Secretary:               Chris Newell

Members at Large:  Devin Gilliam

                               Johnny Barnes

Having no further business the meeting was adjourned at 5:45 p.m.
