CASNR Student Advisory Council Meeting Minutes

October 23, 2003 

President Amy Willis called the meeting to order at 6:41 p.m.  

Undergraduates Graduating

Dr.Albrecht asked for discussion. Discussion was made.

Whit Willis moved to relay the message to the faculty that students should have a “C” in their major to graduate.

Dr.Albrecht discussed changes in the graduation ceremonies.

Christmas Party

Carol White discussed Christmas party.  She asked clubs if they would be in charge of needs: food, crafts, decorations, donations, or if they had any ideas.

Decide that $5 or less should be spent on unisex gifts.

December 2^nd is the date for the Christmas Party

Ag Day

Dr. Hart thanked the clubs for their assistance with Ag Day on September 27^th, 2003 . 

Job Fair

Discussed job fair, asked clubs and council to help make a list of employers.  Each club should bring 5 or 6 company names.

Cattlemen’s Social – Nov 7^th

Open Forum for UT President – Nov 10^th ( 4-6pm )

Reminder was made to send in articles for CASNR Report by 2^nd Tuesday in each month.

Carol White moved to adjourn.  It was seconded and passed.  Meeting was adjourned at 7:39 p.m.
