CASNR Student Advisory Council Meeting Minutes President Carol White called the meeting to order at 6:37p.m. Roll Call was taken by Jessica Huffman. Old Business Fall Festival Amy Willis gave a big Thank You to everyone that volunteered and to ASAE for the pizza party afterwards. New Business Campus Issues No committee has been announced about Dr. Britt’s open position. Several main campus classes will be held on the Ag Campus in the spring. A suggestion to just have “Ag Tag” parking was not incompliance with the parking services. A dart machine is on order for the Ag Vet Library. A motion passed anonymously about “F” tag parking will be allowed on the Ag Campus once again. There is a theft problem in the Ag Engineering building. Therefore the access into Ag Engineering building will be limited. The building will close at 4:30pm and you can only enter through the main entrance. This policy will change once the vandalism has stopped. The Food Science Department is in search of 2 faculty members. Dr. Yoder has left the Biosystems Department. Open House Dr. Albrecht spoke about open house being a recruiting event for rising high school seniors. Each club needs to have a rep for open house. It will be on April 8th and 9th in Hollingsworth Auditorium. Organizations can begin set up Thursday night. There is still a search for an Open House Representative. The person needs to be organized, responsible, and active in CASNR. Email Carol White at cwhite10@utk.edu if you have any suggestions. Student Council Attendance The meeting time has been changed to 5:30pm to help improve attendance. Announcements Next Meeting: January 20th, 2005 End of Classes: November 30th, 2004 Graduation: December 10th, 2004 HAPPY THNAKSGIVING and MERRY CHIRSTMAS Carol White moved to adjourn.
