Science Education & Internship Program - Oak Ridge, TN

Oak Ridge Office of Environmental Management offers students and recent college graduates
opportunities to learn about the mission of the DOE-EM office and to receive specialized
training and practical experience on the safe cleanup of environmental projects stemming
from five decades of nuclear weapons development and government-sponsored energy
research.

Requirements:
Have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
U.S. citizenship (verification will be required if selected), and at least 18 years of age
(no exceptions).
Undergraduate, graduate or post-graduate of an accredited institute of higher education
in the following disciplines:
o Fire Protection and Engineering
o Chemical Engineering
o Civil/Structural Engineering
o Electrical Engineering
o Environmental Engineering
o Industrial Engineering
o Mechanical Engineering
o Nuclear Engineering
o Environmental Science
o Occupational Safety and Health
o Physical Science
o Information Technology
o Other disciplines that support our program
