Description Opportunity to work on a graduate degree (MS) and conduct research on variable-rate (VR) distribution of pesticides in agriculture using aerial application is now available. Research will focus on GPS suitability for aerial VR distribution, time delay effects on application resolution, and definition of quality issues for aerial VR.

Requirements: Undergraduate degree in Agricultural Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or other engineering disciplines. Graduates of other agriculture-related fields will be given consideration after carefully review of transcripts and coursework. Knowledge of computer programming and precision agriculture technologies desired. Overnight travel to state research centers may be involved.
