Edens Places in TAPA Poster Contest

The Tennessee Agricultural Production Association (TAPA) awarded Chad Edens 2nd place in the poster contest and session held at their 2001 summer meeting in Gatlinburg, Tennessee.

As a Graduate Research Assistant, Chad's project involves looking at corn stover as a biomass energy resource. He is interested in the drying characteristics and quantification of corn stover, which is critical for efficient and safe collection, transportation, and storage of corn stover biomass. The project is a collaborative effort between Dr. Lester Pordesimo, based here in the department, and Dr. Shahab Sokhansanj, based at the Oak Ridge National Laboratory.
