Dear Friends and Colleagues of Dr. Luther R. Wilhelm:
At end of December 2004, Dr. Luther R. Wilhelm retired from the University of Tennessee after 33+ years of service as a teacher, researcher, and administrator. To honor his dedicated service, we are inviting you to attend a dinner that will be held the evening of February 15, 2005, in Hollingsworth Auditorium on the University of Tennessee Agriculture Campus. We will start visiting at 6:00 p.m. and dinner will be served at 6:30 p.m. If you would like to attend, please let us know by returning the Reservation Form. The cost of the dinner will be $20.00 per person. Your response is requested no later than Friday, February 11.
We would also like to present Luther with a gift to commemorate his many years of service and dedication to the Department, Institute of Agriculture, and the University of Tennessee. If you would like to participate, please include your contribution along with your dinner reservation. Please make your check payable to the Luther R. Wilhelm Retirement Fund and mail to the attention of:

In addition to the gift, we want to present Luther with a Book of Letters. If you would like to write a letter and have it included, please use the format outlined below. It will be necessary to receive your letter by Friday, February 11.
Type or write on 8.5 - x 11 - inch paper
Leave a 1 1/2-inch left-hand margin for binding
Do not fold letter – mail with backing to prevent damage
This notice is being sent to as many of Luther’s friends as we can recall or locate. Please help us to avoid overlooking anyone by sharing this information with those that you may feel have been omitted. We look forward to visiting with you at the dinner and thanking Luther for his many contributions.
