TN/GA ASAE sections meet in Chattanooga

The Tennessee and Georgia ASAE Sections jointly sponsored their annual meeting in Chattanooga, TN this year. The event was a great success due in large part to the efforts of Timothy Prather of the TN Section and Glen Rains of the GA Section. Tours included the Komatsu heavy equipment plant and a locomotive repair facility.

Awards were presented for the two most outstanding student presentations. Sam Ray (left) won the first prize of $200 for his presentation titled, "The Effect of a Supplemental Air Distribution System on Greenhouse Tomato Production" and Fabio Miranda (middle) won the second prize of $150 for his presentation titled, "A Site Specific Irrigation Control System." They are shown here with John Tyner (right), TN Section Chair.
