Engineering Faculty Receive
ASAE Superior Paper Awards

Faculty members of the Agricultural and Biosystems Engineering Department were among those receiving Superior and Honorable Mention Paper Awards at the recent ASAE/CSAE International Meeting in Toronto.

Daniel C. Yoder, John B. Wilkerson, John R. Buchanan and Ronald E. Yoder, coauthored a paper with K. J. Hurley entitled "Development and Evaluation of a Device to Control Time-Varying Flows." Their paper received a Superior Paper Award and was published in Transactions of the ASAE.

Faculty members receiving an Honorable Mention were Ronald E. Yoder, John B. Wilkerson and Daniel C. Yoder . They coauthored with David L. Johnson a paper entitled "Soil Water Sensor Performance." This paper was published in Applied Engineering in Agriculture.

Each year Up to 2.5% of papers published in ASAE's technical journals are selected for Superior Paper Awards. An additional 2.5% receive Honorable Mention. This year eight papers were selected in each category.
